Tournament Refund Policy
Westlake Agoura Girls Softball ("WAGS") begins its planning and scheduling processes months in advance. Teams and Leagues that have registered for the WAGS Summer Slam 2024 tournament ("Tournament") should make every effort to attend and should withdraw only when there are no other options.
This Tournament Refund Policy ("Refund Policy") governs the refund process that WAGS will provide in the event that a registered team ("Team") needs to withdraw their registration from Tournament. Teams should notify the WAGS Tournament Director as soon as they are aware that they need to withdraw.
Full Refund Period: A Team is eligible to request a full refund for its tournament registration fees until May 8, 2024 at 11:59 PM PST ("Full Refund Deadline"). Any request for a full refund must be submitted in writing email to tourney@wags411.org, and received by the Full Refund Deadline to be considered valid. A refund of the full registration fee, less the $50 non-refundable deposit, will be given to any Team that requests a refund prior to the Full Refund Deadline.
Partial Refund Period: A Team is eligible to request a partial refund for its Tournament registration fees any time after the Full Refund Deadline but before May 17, 2024 at 11:59 PM PST ("Partial Refund Deadline"). Any request for a partial refund must be submitted in writing email to tourney@wags411.org, and received by the Partial Refund Deadline to be considered valid. A refund of one half (½) the registration fee, less the $50 non-refundable deposit, will be given to any Team that requests a refund prior to the Partial Refund Deadline.
No Refund: Refund requests received after the Partial Refund Deadline will not be honored, and no refunds will be issued for any Team that withdraws from the Tournament after that time. In addition, no refunds will be provided for participants who fail to attend the Tournament for any reason.
Refund Request Process: Refund requests must be submitted in writing via email to tourney@wags411.org. You must include the league's name, team name, division(s), and registration details in the refund request. The Tournament Director will confirm receipt of any valid refund requests.
Other Refund Terms:
If you register and submit a check or pay online after the tournament is filled, or for some other reason WAGS determines that you cannot be scheduled into the Tournament, the full amount of your registration fee (including the deposit) will be refunded.
If a Team intentionally registers in the incorrect division (e.g., Silver) and later requests to move to a different division (e.g., Gold), WAGS cannot guarantee there will be a spot for you in the other division and/or may determine that you can not longer be scheduled into the Tournament. Please reach out to the WAGS Tournament Director as soon as you register, if you believe your Team will be classified as a “C” team according to USA Softball.
If the Tournament is canceled by WAGS due to weather or some unforeseen circumstances, you will be provided a refund of the full registration fee, less the $50 non-refundable deposit.
If the Tournament registration fee was paid via credit card, any refund will be less the credit card fees incurred by WAGS in receiving the payment and in processing the refund.
By participating in the WAGS Summer Slam 2024 Tournament and completing the registration process, you acknowledge and agree to the terms outlined in this Refund Policy.
